Disney4me
On a beautiful spring morning in Florida, I visited my favorite World Showcase pavilion in Epcot – France. You may recall that this year I’m making my way around the “World” to highlight a new World Showcase pavilion each month. This month’s assignment was easy as I adore France Pavilion (as seen in my recent Disney Parks Blog Unboxed video for the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival). From the romantic architecture to the wonderful aromas that float gently throughout the shops, I’m transported to another place every time I visit. France Pavilion is home to several unique shops including Plume Et Palette, an Art Nouveau-inspired location that carries Givenchy fragrances. Adjacent to this shop is La Signature which offers fragrances and cosmetics by Guerlain. Stroll down other narrow streets to find Les Vins de France where you can purchase a variety of French wines. The shop also offers wine and champagne tastings. Finally, you’ll find Souvenirs de France located in the same building as my favorite bakery, Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie. The building’s interior design was inspired by a now-demolished market in Paris. The shops in France offer a variety of goods including apparel, home décor, accessories and more. I found France Pavilion-inspired drinkware and t-shirts. I loved the apron with an image of an Eiffel Tower made of macarons (that artwork is also used on mugs and t-shirts). Guests looking for character merchandise will find items with Marie the cat from Disney’s “Aristocats” or characters from Disney-Pixar’s “Ratatouille.” Here are some additional images I found during my visit to France Pavilion. There were so many things to see that I found it difficult to select just these few. View the full article
