Disney4me
When it comes to DIY (do-it-yourself) projects, mine tend to involve chocolate. So I was happy to stop by the Candy Cauldron at Disney Springs last week to learn how to make one of the location’s classic treats – the Mickey Mouse Character Apple. Here’s what you’ll need: one Granny Smith apple, one candy apple stick, two marshmallows, melted caramel (any online recipe will do), melted white chocolate, melted milk chocolate, red granulated sugar and two yellow jelly beans. Check out the step-by-step tutorial with Confectioner Matt below. Would you believe that while the Mickey Mouse apple is a guest favorite, it isn’t the most popular character treat? I’ll be back next week with a tutorial on the shop’s #1 bestseller. In the meantime, place your guesses below!
