Disney4me
I remember as a child my grandma taking me to play at Boysen Park in Anaheim, so it was great being back there earlier this week to begin planting the 60 trees that the Disneyland Resort is donating to Anaheim parks in honor of Earth Month and the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration. Disneyland Resort Arborist Rhonda Wood, who helps keep more than 18,000 trees healthy at the Disneyland Resort, was on hand to show Anaheim students from Roosevelt Elementary how to properly plant the trees. Six of the trees were Pink Trumpet trees, which are special to the Disneyland Resort as they surround the “Partners” statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse at Disneyland park. We hope the trees will bring a splash of color to Boysen Park and symbolize our partnership with the community!
