Invictus Games Competitors and Service Dogs Meet Mickey Mouse and Pluto

Invictus Games Orlando 2016 wrapped up last week after several days of competition in 10 sports at ESPN Wide World of Sports. Many of the athletes train year-round in their sport, but there are some K-9 heroes who work 365 days a year helping their humans to be the best they can be.

Several Invictus Games competitors and their service dogs took a break to have a playful meet up with Mickey Mouse and Pluto at Shades of Green Resort here at Walt Disney World Resort on the last day of competition.

I spoke with two competitors from Team U.S.A. who shared their stories of how their service dogs have impacted their lives. Take a look at this video to hear their inspiring stories.
