‘Chewbacca’ Mom Visits the Place Where Star Wars Lives at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Candace Payne set internet records last month when she captured the hearts of millions with her genuine, infectious laughter while trying on a Chewbacca mask. With her instantaneous celebrity status, she spent the next week crossing the country being interviewed by talk shows and national morning shows. What was missing from her travels was a visit to the place where Star Wars lives and the Force is strong – in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort.

Candace, a die-hard Star Wars fan, and her family spent the weekend living their Star Wars dreams – encountering Jawas, evading Stormtroopers, and most importantly – coming face to face with Chewbacca at Star Wars Launch Bay.
