Celebrate Lunar New Year 2017 with New Products Coming to Disney California Adventure Park

This year, the biggest Lunar New Year celebration yet at Disney California Adventure park will be held from Friday, Jan. 20, through Sunday, Feb. 5. The festivities will include beautiful décor, delicious food, fun-filled activities, colorful live performances and more. Today, I have a first look at new commemorative merchandise created for this festive occasion.

Lunar New Year, traditionally celebrated within Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cultures, commemorates the moment when both the sun and the moon begin their journey for another year.

Guests visiting during this celebration will find a t-shirt, a magnet, and a decorative trinket box. We will also have traditional red envelopes for gift-giving. Each of these items include a specially designed logo featuring Mickey Mouse. These items will only be found at the Disneyland Resort.

On January 26, we will release a limited edition pin for Lunar New Year. The pin will have an edition size of 3,500, and will be carried in select merchandise locations at Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa.
