Another Look at ‘Hurry Home – Lunar New Year Celebration’ at Disney California Adventure Park

One of the highlights of this year’s Lunar New Year celebration at Disney California Adventure park is “Hurry Home,” a delightful, six-minute pre-show presented just before each evening’s performance of “World of Color.” “Hurry Home” follows the journey of a Little Lantern character, returning home for the annual celebration of good luck and fortune. The short is accompanied by a stirring, musical score, created by Academy Award-winning composer Tan Dun (“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”). Today, Creative Entertainment Producer Jennifer Magill shares some of her favorite moments from “Hurry Home.”

You can still catch “Hurry Home” this weekend. The Lunar New Year celebration at Disney California Adventure park continues through February 5.
