Disney4me
We love watching the seasons change at Walt Disney World, and not just because pumpkins change into evergreen wreaths overnight (literally!). Learn About:Main Street Bakery Magic KingdomDisney World Restaurants No, friends, we love all the seasonal treats that reappear along with the decorations! And the Main Street Bakery is a great place to grab something new (or a returning favorite). Despite several new breakfast locations opening on Main Street in the morning, we think the Main Street Bakery will retain its popularity. As the home of the Magic Kingdom’s Starbucks, the Main Street Bakery incorporates both fun, Disney-fabulous treats (we love the seasonal and character cupcakes!) and our favorite Starbucks items. This is true of all of the on-property Starbucks locations, so no matter where you find yourself, you’ll have a bunch of goodies to choose from. Main Street Bakery On our visit to the Main Street Bakery, we tried one of the returning seasonal items: the Cranberry Bliss Bar. This bar is one of the Starbucks offerings, so if you’re a fan of this one in the real world, you can now enjoy it in the Parks as well. The bar portion of the Cranberry Bliss Bar is a rich hybrid of a cookie and cake. We liked the texture, which comes not just from the bar itself but also from sporadic bits of dried cranberries and small chunks of white chocolate that are incorporated into it. Main Street Bakery Cranberry Bliss Bar The bar itself is pretty sweet, so it benefits from the contrast provided by those tart cranberries. Main Street Bakery Cranberry Bliss Bar Atop the bar is a thick layer of cream cheese frosting. We love a good slathering of cream cheese frosting (usually blanketing the top of a carrot cake of some kind), so you know we appreciated the use of it here. Main Street Bakery Cranberry Bliss Bar On top of the cream cheese frosting, you’ll get a scattering of the dried cranberries and some orange-flavored drizzle. We even spotted some orange zest sneaking its citrusy self onto the top as well. And the flavor combination really works here. The bar is quite sweet, so the tartness and the slight citrus flavor cut through the sugar and add a layer of complexity. Main Street Bakery Cranberry Bliss At $3.19 or a Dining Plan snack credit, the deceptively small Cranberry Bliss Bar seems a little overpriced upon first glance. But we found it to be so rich that it was really satisfying at that price point. We think this one would be an indulgent breakfast treat or a unique dessert at the end of your day.
