Recently we let you in on an upcoming Disneyland special dining experience: for a limited time, Village Haus in Disneyland is being transformed into the Beauty and the Beast-inspired Red Rose Taverne. And now we know: it’s opening THIS FRIDAY!!!! February 24!

Don’t worry: Village Haus isn’t being permanently evicted (just locked in the East Wing for a while). The Red Rose Taverne overlay is a limited time affair. In the meantime, we are so, so, so excited that the March 17 release of the live-action BATB is prompting so many cool tie-ins (like the gorgeous Belle-inspired cupcake that’s made an appearance on both coasts)! If you need us, we’ll be tying our napkins ’round our necks, cherie.

So when Disney Parks Blog released the menu for Red Rose Taverne, we just had to take a glance. It’s our duty. And we take it very seriously. Mrs. Potts-making-tea-for-her-guests seriously.

Back to the food! We aren’t kidding when we say there is something for everyone (including lovers of Disney World’s Lefou’s Brew!)!

For the carnivores in your party, Beast’s Burger will satisfy. It’s a classic 1/3 pound Angus beef patty with culinary-theme-appropriate toppings like Gruyere cheese, caramelized onions, and horseradish aioli.

Then there’s this surefire winner: Slow-Cooked Beef Poutine. You guys: POUTINE. In case you need a reminder, Disney Springs has whole kiosk showcasing the beauty of this French-Canadian delicacy. It’s called The Daily Poutine. Spoiler alert: it’s awesome.

Red Rose Taverne‘s version will feature slow-cooked beef and gravy lounging all over a pile of waffle fries. (Can’t. Stop. Drooling.) Did we mention there’s also a Poutine Flatbread?! Because it’s also on the menu. Let it sink in. Poutine. Flatbread.

PoutineFlatbread.

That is going in my face.

Where were we? Oh, right! There are a couple other flatbread’s on the menu too. The Pulled Pork Flatbread is a dressed-up barbecue dish with pickled onions and roasted corn, while the Garden Mozzarella Flatbread gives us caprese vibes with basil, mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce.

For those who prefer a lighter meal, Red Rose Taverne’s got your back with the Enchanted Cauliflower Sandwich. This one sounds super interesting! It’s described as a ‘grilled cauliflower steak’, and it’s served with tempura-battered green beans. Yum and cool! We love a creative vegetarian option!

The savory part of the menu concludes with Chicken Sandwich à la Lumière (with bacon jam! No candlestick included!) and Chef’s Chopped Salad (complete with blue cheese crumbles and apple vinaigrette).

Of course, no French-inspired meal is complete with something sweet. And it’s time for the GREY STUFF, Y’ALL! (Insert your own requisite movie reference.)

The Grey Stuff Gateau is a white chocolate mousse and red velvet gateau combo with a sweet raspberry center. We think this sounds like a great combination. Meanwhile the Lemon Rose Cake is a lemon mousse cake with a strawberry-rose filling. Ahhh, the rose.

And finally, in case you prefer to drink your dessert (or want a terrifically tasty beverage to tote around the park with ya), Disney World’s Lefou’s Brew is available at Red Rose Taverne — but in this location it’s called Gaston’s Famous Brew.

Red Rose Taverne’s menu lists Gaston’s Famous Brew as ‘apple-mango punch topped with passion fruit foam’. Same/same/same except with Mango instead of Marshmallow. Love it!

We can’t help it — we’re stoked about this limited time celebration of the new Beauty and the Beast movie. We might be a little more excited for the movie itself, but we’ll let you know for sure after we get a taste of that poutine.
