Disney4me
Breakfast lovers, rejoice! Today is National Eggs Benedict Day and to celebrate, I’m sharing my favorite Disney takes on the classic breakfast (or brunch) dish at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, Olivia’s Café, Disney’s Old Key West Resort Poached eggs with a Key West twist—crab cakes and key lime hollandaise served on an English muffin with a side of potato casserole. The Samoan, Kona Cafe, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort No traditional English muffin here, at Kona Cafe poached eggs with hollandaise are served over a smoked pulled pork hash and English muffin croutons. Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, Geyser Point Bar & Grill, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge At this quick-service location, you’ll find poached eggs, spinach and hollandaise served on top of crab cakes instead of an English muffin – served with potato hash or fresh fruit. Lobster Eggs Benedict, Narcoossee’s, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa During the Waterfront Brunch, you’ll find a butter-poached Maine lobster with country ham, soft-poached eggs and citrus hollandaise on a toasted English muffin. Eggs Benedict, Trail’s End Restaurant, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground On the breakfast buffet, you’ll find a delicious, rustic version topped with pulled pork. Eggs Benedict, Captain’s Grille, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort One of the more traditional takes on the dish, Captain’s Grille serves poached eggs with Serrano ham and hollandaise on an English muffin. At Disneyland Resort, you’ll find three varieties of eggs benedict at Steakhouse 55 at Disneyland Hotel: • Classic with poached eggs, Canadian bacon and hollandaise on an English muffin • Serrano Ham with poached eggs, steamed asparagus and blood orange hollandaise on a homemade cornmeal biscuit • Smoked Salmon with poached eggs, caviar and hollandaise on an English muffin What is your favorite way to enjoy eggs benedict?
