Disney4me Posted April 18, 2017 Report Share Posted April 18, 2017 We are thrilled to announce exclusively on the Disney Parks Blog that the beloved Pirates of the Caribbean attraction will be front and center when the Walt Disney Archives opens its exhibit at D23 Expo 2017. This year’s Archives pavilion is entitled “A Pirate’s Life for Me: Disney’s Rascals, Scoundrels and Really Bag Eggs.” The exhibit is a salute to Disney’s most memorable marauders, from “Peter Pan”’s Captain Hook from to Pirates of the Caribbean’s Captain Jack Sparrow. The Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, beloved around the world from Anaheim and Orlando to Paris, Tokyo and Shanghai, will have its own section featuring iconic props, Audio-Animatronics and ephemera. Along with some familiar figures, look for concept art for the Disneyland park attraction, classic merchandise items, and canons from the original attraction. D23 Expo 2017 will take place July 14-16 at the Anaheim Convention Center, across the street from Disneyland Resort. Tickets and more information are available now at D23expo.com.
