If you spend your summer vacation in Orlando, you know you’ll be feeling hot, hot, HOT! And you might be tempted to opt out of the theme park experience. However, if you and your familia stay at Walt Disney World Resort, there are endless opportunities to have fun in the sun while beating the heat.

Water fun at Walt Disney World Resort doesn’t end at Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon (see last week’s post!).

At The Seas with Nemo & Friends pavilion in Epcot, you can get an up-close experience with underwater life through scuba diving and scuba-assisted snorkeling, among many other experiences.

On Bay Lake near Magic Kingdom Park, you can water ski and parasail, with the ultimate view—Cinderella Castle. Also on Bay Lake, you and the fishing aficionados can fish for trophy-sized bass fish. All across Walt Disney World Resort waterways, your familia can experience water adventures with the rental of sailboats, pontoon boats, canopy boats, pedal boats, rowboats or canoes.

Something for Everyone at Walt Disney World Resort

And if you prefer to stay dry, there are several exciting activities at Walt Disney World Resort. In addition to workout facilities and health clubs, you can bike, play tennis, jog on a scenic trail and go horseback riding. At Disney’s Boardwalk Inn you can breeze down the boardwalk on a surrey bike, making it an outing that’s fun para toda la familia!

What other recreational actividades do you like doing with your familia beyond the parks?
