Are you ready for THE SOLAR ECLIPSE?!?

La Cava del Tequila sure is… and you can be, too, if you’re in Epcot TODAY.

Eclipse Margarita

For today only, in honor of the Eclipse, La Cava del Tequila is selling an ECLIPSE MARGARITA for $10!

Much like the eclipsed sun later on today (around 2:45 pm in Central FL, FYI), the Eclispe Margarita has a dark hue. It’s made up of Tequila Altos Reposado, orange liquor, lime juice, agave nectar, and food grade activated charcoal. It’s served frozen or on the rocks.

And the white topper? That’s lime foam.

See You Later, Straws!

Aside from the sun, there’s something else on the horizon at La Cava. You won’t see straws in your drinks anymore. The reasoning is twofold: first, environmentally this cuts back on waste. And second, it’s also to “respect (the) salts” that are a major component of many of the drinks at La Cava.

If you really want a straw, paper ones will be available upon request.

Happy Solar Eclipse Day, everybody!
