Though Satu’li Canteen — located in Disney World’s newest land of Pandora — The World of AVATAR — is still a new restaurant, there is already a change to report.

The main dining establishment in Pandora has discontinued its Breakfast service for now.

I say “for now” because guests will still be able to catch breakfast at Satu’li Canteen from time to time. It will be an option during peak crowd seasons such as the weeks right around the Christmas holiday and Spring Break.

So, you may still have the opportunity to grab some Cinnamon French Toast or Scrambled Eggs, Bacon and Spinach Steamed Pods depending on the time of year of your visit.

This adjustment, in many ways, makes sense. While we really enjoyed breakfast at Satu’li, it was only open for the first hour of the morning since the Lunch and Dinner menu kicks in at 10:00 am. And, let’s face it, most Pandora guests are spending that first precious hour in Pandora as part of the crowd making a beeline straight for the crazy popular (and SUPER awesome) Flight of Passage attraction.

This doesn’t mean breakfast options are lacking in Animal Kingdom, though! Remember, Local Foods Cafe (the Yak & Yeti Counter Service location) began serving breakfast earlier this summer. Creature Comforts (the Animal Kingdom Starbucks) and Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery are additional Counter Service options, or you could always start your day with a terrific Character Meal breakfast at Tusker House, to name a few.

No matter where you start it, though, it’s always a good morning if you’re in Animal Kingdom, right?
