Learn About:Good’s Food to Go Disney World Restaurants Good’s Food to Go at Old Key West Resort! Now, you may be thinking, “Great! Wait…. where?” And that’s fair enough. Because Good’s Food to Go isn’t exactly what you might call a high profile location. While Olivia’s Cafe — Old Key West’s Table Service restaurant — has earned its great reputation (though it still flies under the radar due to its non-park-centric location), Good’s Food to Go is hardly known at all. Which makes sense. You’ll soon see that it’s not “destination dining,” per se. Good’s Food To Go Even though its surroundings reflect the fun and tropical Keys vibe of the Resort (and it’s tucked right next to what is possibly the cutest little bar in all of Disney World, the Gurgling Suitcase)… Old Key West Resort Gurgling Suitcase Gurgling Suitcase … Good’s Food to Go is nothing more than a counter. Like, literally one counter. Good’s Food To Go Remember, this is the original Disney Vacation Club location, so this does make sense when you consider that most guests very much make Old Key West their home away from home and likely utilize their studio or villa kitchen for breakfast. Still, you have everything you need from a Counter Service spot with some grab-and-go options as well as drinks nearby. Good’s Food To Go facing Beverage Station But it’s only the basics. And that’s why it’s surprising that a few of the options on the small breakfast menu are fairly intriguing! Yes, you’ve got your Disney-standard Bounty Breakfast Platter, and an Egg, Sausage, and Cheese Biscuit. Breakfast Menu But Harry’s Hearty Breakfast Bowl pairs a biscuit and gravy with O’Brien potatoes and scrambled eggs. And I was definitely tempted by the Ham and Cheese on Texas Toast. Ultimately, though, I couldn’t resist Olivia’s Bread Pudding. It’s a base of doughy pastry chunks poured over with Olivia’s Rum Sauce, served with your choice of sausage or bacon. Olivia’s Bread Pudding with Bacon As you can see, everything is absolutely swimming in that tasty, sweet-with-a-nice-amount-of-salty-butter Rum Sauce. HOORAY! Olivia’s Bread Pudding I picked up on a small bit of cinnamon spice in the thick bread pudding. Olivia’s Bread Pudding The portion wasn’t huge, but the pudding was so rich, and the sauce so decadent, that I almost couldn’t finish the final two bites. I pressed on, though . Olivia’s Bread Pudding If you’re missing the Bananas Foster Waffles that used to be served at Roaring Fork in the Wilderness Lodge (like I am), this dish scratches a similar itch. And having an excuse to start the day with bread pudding… well, I’ll take that anytime!
