If so, then you’re going to want to know a few of the bites you’ve just GOT to try on the Causeway when the event takes place this Friday and Saturday evening from 5:30 to 9:00 pm! The Causeway We’ve already given you a full rundown of the event here. But we were also able to attend a Preview of the Classic this week, and can’t resist sharing a few of our very favorite bites with you to make sure you don’t miss them if you’re attending the event. Because with over 60 stations, 49 different dishes, and over 60 beverages to choose from, you’ll definitely want to go in with a plan! So if you want tickets, get on that! ;-D Must-Eat Causeway Dishes Chinatown will feature just two dishes, but BOTH of them have ended up on our list of favorites! Chinatown sign The Crispy Duck on a Steamed Bun with Cucumber Hoisin does NOT disappoint! Crispy Duck on Steamed Bun with Hoisin Sauce And the Shanghai Dumplings (Pan Roasted Pork Dumplings) with Soy Sauce nabbed a spot on our list, too. (These were around last year and we circled back for them, like, 8 times.) Shanghai Dumplings Pastry & Desserts will be positively packed with gorgeous goodies by Swan and Dolphin pastry chef Laurent Branlard. Pastry & Desserts Greek Yogurt Dome Key Lime Vanilla Cream But the Honey for Tea is the absolute tops. Speculos Crunch and Gianduja Ganache WHAT?!?! Honey for Tea Honey for Tea The Terrace Beer Garden is where you’ll find the scrumptious Jager Schnitzel: lightly breaded pork served with some terrific spaetzle and Hunters Sauce. Jager Schnitzel Don’t forget your Riesenbretzel (Pretzel) while you’re there! Riesenbretzel Riesenbretzel Condiments Carnival Corner is serving up some fun and flavorful eats once more, including the Texas-style Corn Dogs! Texas-Style Corn Dogs So cute, right? Texas-Style Corn Dogs Follow it up with some Funnel Cake… mmmm. Funnel Cakes Yep, that’s Nutella. Funnel Cake And Cib’s Smokehouse will be serving up a beautifully plated Hand-Crafted Pork Belly with confit-fennel (Why would you confit fennel, Cib? How does that even happen?), compressed green apple, and spicy pear BBQ. Cib’s Smokehouse Hand-Crafted Pork Belly Themed Areas Several of those items above come from three of the FOUR themed areas! Carnival Corner, The Terrace Beer Garden, and Chinatown are all returning this year. Carnival Corner And we’ll see the debut of the NEW Bubble Lounge! Bubble Lounge sign While we didn’t get to see what the full setup will be, we did get a bit of an idea from this display. Bubble Lounge Preview Deviled Eggs Smoked Salmon Toast Get this: guests will be given a piece of bubblegum as a hint, and then have to find this speakeasy-style Bubble Lounge. Bubble Gum FUN!! Interested in tasting it all yourself? Ticket holders for the event will enjoy the activities on Friday, October 27, and/or Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 5:30PM to 9PM. There are several ticket options, which you can find on the event website. The Causeway Ticket provides unlimited access to food and drinks along the Causeway between the two resorts. (Please note: Causeway tickets are sold out for Saturday evening.) The Causeway Ticket and Beer Garden ticket allows access to the unlimited Causeway offerings as well as the Beer Garden.
