But one of my preferred spots in the park has got to be Discovery Island. This area, located at the heart of the park, is the set for one of my favorite activities – dancing! The Discovery Island Carnival is a vibrant dance party that starts in the late afternoon. You can dance al ritmo de Latin and world-beat sounds as the sun sets and the park comes alive during the night. You might not know this, but the Carnival is actually inspired by Carnival celebrations around the world! So if you find yourself at Disney’s Animal Kingdom during this time of day, be sure to stop by Discovery Island and join the dance party!
