We spent yesterday at the soft opening for the Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure on the west coast. But today, the elves on the east coast are getting ready for the celebration, too… because the MENUS are up for the Holiday Kitchens coming to the 2017 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays kicking off on November 19th! This year, the twelve Holiday Kitchens announced so far will be found around World Showcase and beyond. Feast of the Three Kings Booth First, a note on logistics: the Holiday Kitchens will be open daily throughout the Festival, which runs from November 19th through December 30th, from Noon until 8:00 pm. Disney has noted that “Availability for some holiday kitchens offerings may be limited,” and that “All menu items are subject to change without notice.” Okay, now for the FUN Part! Full Menus are available on our 2017 Epcot Festival of Holidays Menu Page, and we’re going to take a quick glimpse at each of those Holiday Kitchens now! NEW this year is the Alsace Holiday Kitchen, featuring French cuisine, wine, and cocktails. Among other eats, look for the Bûche de Noël au Chocolat — a slice of a Chocolate Christmas Yule Log! Yule Log The American Holiday Table will return, as will its star dish from last year. American Holiday Table That’s the Slow-Roasted Turkey with Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans and Cranberry Sauce! Slow-Roasted Turkey from American Holiday Table The Bavaria Holiday Kitchen is the new name for Prost! this year. It will still feature Stollen (Holiday Fruit Cake). Stollen And this is where you’ll find the Cheese Fondue in a bread bowl with Fresh Steamed Baby Vegetables and Marble Potatoes featuring Melissa’s Produce this year (it was at Alpine Haus in 2016). Cheese Fondue Visit the Festival Center to find COOKIES at The Cookie Nook Holiday Kitchen. We’re talking everything from Snickerdoodles to Chocolate Chunk to Gingerbread! Sachertorte — Chocolate Cake with Apricot Jam and Dark Chocolate Glaze — will be found here, too. Sachertorte The beautiful Feast of the Three Kings Holiday Kitchen will return, bringing back items from 2016 such as Three Kings Bread. Feast of the Three Kings Booth area Three Kings Bread The NEW Hokkaido Holiday Kitchen will be located in the Japan Pavilion, serving items like the New Year Celebration Soba: Buckwheat Soba Noodle with Spinach in Hot Soup with Shrimp Tempura or Chicken. Japan Pavilion Pagoda Holiday Sweets and Treats (last year’s Holiday EATS and Treats) will again be located at Promenade Refreshments, bringing back the Peppermint Sundae and Frozen S’mores. Peppermint Sundae The Mexico Holiday Kitchen has been renamed Las Posadas Holiday Kitchen! Look for the Tostada de Tinga: Crispy Corn Tortilla smothered with Black Beans, topped with Chipotle Chicken and garnished with Crema Mexicana, Queso Fresco, Avocado and Tomatillo Sauce. Mexico Booth from 2016 will be Las Posadas The NEW Shanghai Holiday Kitchen will serve Mongolian Beef Bao Bun and a Fortune Cookie, among other items, in the China Pavilion. DO NOT MISS the amazing Lion Dance by the Holiday Storytellers while you’re there! The Lion Dance The NEW Tuscany Holiday Kitchen in the Italy Pavilion will serve a mini version of the traditional Italian Christmas Fruit Cake, Panettone. Panettone and Prosecco Morocco will host the NEW Tarabaki Holiday Kitchen serving Grilled Lamb Kefta and Grapes with Julienne of Euro Cucumber, Red Pepper, Pickled Pearl Onions, Harissa and Cilantro Dressing among other offerings. Celebrating the Spice of Life in the Morocco Pavilion during the Holidays The NEW Yukon Holiday Kitchen in the Canada Pavilion will serve a Maple version of the Bûche de Noël: Maple Mousse rolled in Gingerbread Chiffon Cake with Cranberry Sauce and Pecan Crumble. Look for the return of Pecan Maple Bark at the Canada Popcorn Cart, too!
