Earlier this week, we were thrilled to gather together with 200 Disney Parks Blog readers for a “Flurry of Fun” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

“Flurry of Fun” is the new park-wide holiday celebration at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which includes the new Sunset Seasons Greetings projection show, a new finale at the park’s “Frozen Singalong,” beautiful decor in the Echo Lake area, the return of “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” and more.

To kick things off, we met the group for a special dessert party at Sunset Showcase, where Mickey Mouse, Santa Goofy, Chip & Dale were on-hand to greet our guests. Executive Producer Laura Offerdahl also served as our special guest and talked about what it took to bring this year’s Flurry of Fun celebration to life.

Guests then had some free time to enjoy the new projection show, Sunset Seasons Greetings, along Sunset Boulevard. This new holiday offering brings magical holiday stories – inspired by Mickey & Minnie, friends from “Toy Story,” Swedish Chef from The Muppets, and Olaf from “Frozen” – to life on The Hollywood Tower Hotel.

We later met up for a viewing of “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” It’s a full on “Cranberry Red!” situation in this show for elves Wayne and Lanny from “Prep & Landing,” who go on a wild chase to find Santa and return him to the North Pole in time for Christmas Eve.
