Disney4me
A few months ago, when we were last out at Circle D Ranch for the Norco Labor Day Parade, we had the opportunity to learn about a very special show harness. Handmade at the Disneyland Resort, with inlay leather and Disneyland motifs, this harness also features a distinctly decorative piece, known as the “Scotch Top.” This particular harness is not often seen when Disneyland Resort horses participate in community parades, as it is made for a single horse; typically our horses pull in tandem. However, for the recent Labor Day parade, multiple horses were chosen to represent the Disneyland Resort – so Chief was the lucky horse who got to wear this special harness. In the video below, you can learn more about the “Scotch Top” from Circle D Ranch Guest Service Manager Jen Gable, and you can see Chief proudly wearing it!
