Disney4me
“What are you doing New Year’s… New Year’s Eve?” Well, if you’re planning to spend New Year’s Eve in Disney World’s Epcot, then you should know about the New Year’s Eve Dinner at the World Showplace Pavilion! Epcot at Night What’s that? You’re wondering why it took them so long to announce this? Us, too! Which means maybe it’s not sold out, yet! A full buffet will feature soups and salads for starters, such as an antipasto salad with basil, grilled vegetable and bean salad, roasted Ruskin tomato basil soup, and a seafood-and-corn chowder. Entree selections on the buffet will include seafood mac and cheese with butter-toasted panko, parmesan-crusted chicken breast with lemon caper sauce, and even gluten-free options like mojo-roasted pork, oven-baked cod, and tender demi-braised beef with mushrooms and pearl onions. Children are welcome at the event and will find selections just for them including chicken fritters, baked “Minnie” corn dogs, and meatballs with red sauce. Dessert? Yes, please! Look for key lime raspberry glitter tarts, Nutella-stuffed chocolate Bundt cakes, assorted eclairs, fresh fruits, chocolate-kissed coconut macaroons, hand-dipped vanilla bean ice cream and sugar- and gluten-free spice cake among the options. Disney songs will play in the background and fun photo vignettes will be part of the fun, too. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling (407) WDW-DINE (the Cast Member can assist you with available seating times). The price per adult guest is $72.90, and the price for children is $44.38 (tax and gratuity are included for both). This event will accept Disney Dining Plan credits, requiring two Table Service credits per guest. Epcot admission is required and not included.
