Disney4me
Ever since a baby hippo was born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom last month – the first hippo to be born at the park in 13 years – Guests and Cast alike have been hungry for hippo news. Today, I’m thrilled to share that the hippo calf is a boy, and his name is Augustus! The little one, who’s now 168 pounds, has a playful spirit and can often be seen right next to his mom Tuma. See the video below for a grand reveal! Guests may see Tuma and her calf on Kilimanjaro Safaris and Wild Africa Trek. To learn more about hippos, visit DisneyAnimals.com.
