Disney4me Posted February 24, 2018 Report Share Posted February 24, 2018 Last month, the circle of life got a big bigger at Disney’s Animal Kingdom with the welcome addition of a baby hippo – the first to be born at the park in 13 years! This week, the park surprised a group of lucky guests with a special “gender reveal” and name announcement moment for the baby calf – a male named Augustus! Weighing in now at 168 lbs., the male calf enjoys time in the hippo area of Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction, as well as special “mommy time” with his mother, Tuma.
