In addition to the beautiful flowers and Disney-themed topiaries all over the park, guests can also enjoy specialty tours, fun family activities, and the Garden Rocks Concert Series — complete with Dining Packages again. 2018 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival But our favorite part of the Festival is the 15 Outdoor Kitchens – better known as Food Booths – serving up small plates and beverages with a focus on Spring flavors and garden-fresh ingredients. And today we’re going to take a look at the Best Eats for Kids at this year’s Epcot Flower and Garden Festival! There are so many delicious eats at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival – check out our Best of the Fest HERE! – but today we’re going to focus on kid-friendly items that even the pickiest eaters should enjoy! Frushi at Hanami Frushi at Hanami is made with Fresh Pineapple, Strawberry, and Melon rolled with Coconut Rice and, it’s sprinkled with Toasted Coconut and Whipped Cream with a bit of Raspberry Sauce on the side. Frushi at the Hanami Outdoor Kitchen in Japan This is a super fun dish and a great item to introduce the kiddos to new foods! Beef Tenderloin Tips, Mushroom Bordelaise Sauce, Whipped Potatoes with Garden Vegetables at Northern Bloom Sure it sounds fancy but it’s basically Beef Tenderloin Tips and Mashed Potatoes (at least that’s how you can explain it to the kiddos)! And who doesn’t like beef and mashed potatoes? Beef Tenderloin Tips This is a hearty dish and a good way to get the kids to eat their veggies too! Vegetable Spring Rolls at Lotus House The Lotus House menu features all savory items this year and these Spring Rolls should be a hit with the kids. Vegetable Spring Rolls cross section You can try request them without sauce if your kids prefer them plain. Toasted Pretzel Bread at Baurnmarkt: Farmer’s Market If the kids like cheese, the Toasted Pretzel Bread topped with Black Forest Ham and Melted Gruyère Cheese at Baurnmarkt: Farmer’s Market is a great choice! Toasted Pretzel Bread with Black Forest Ham and Gruyere A Germany-made pretzel smothered with melted cheese and Black Forest Ham – what’s not to love?! Warm Cheese Strudel with Mixed Berries at Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market The Warm Cheese Strudel with Mixed Berries has been a favorite here at DFB for a few years. If the kiddos love dessert order this! Warm Cheese Strudel with Mixed Berries There is plenty of rich, sweet Cheese Filling inside the flaky pastry and the Berry Sauce is delicious. Macaron au Chocolat en Sucette at Fleur de Lys You might have to order a few of these because everyone in the family will enjoy the Large Chocolate Macaron Lollipop at Fleur de Lys. Chocolate Macaron This Chocolate Macaron is new to the Festival this year and it’s chocolate perfection! Sugar Cane Shrimp Skewer with Steamed Rice and Coconut Lime Sauce at La Isla Fresca The Sugar Cane Shrimp Skewer at La Isla Fresca is a great dish for kiddos who want to try something different but not too exotic! Sugar Cane Shrimp Skewer with Steamed Rice and Coconut Lime Sauce The Coconut Lime Sauce has a mild, sweet flavor that kids will love. Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade at Pineapple Promenade This frozen beverage from Pineapple Promenade is not too floral or overly sweet. The kids will love sharing pics of it on Instagram too! ;-D Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade This has been a DFB favorite for several years and it’s definitely worth the wait to the Pineapple Promenade. Pineapple Soft-serve with Fanta at Pineapple Promenade We couldn’t leave Dole Whip off the list of Best Eats for Kids! And this version is topped with Fanta soda pop! Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration takes place through May 28, while the Egg-Stravaganza returning to the Festival from March 16 through April 1. Maps for both scavenger hunts are $5.99 plus tax each and guests will receive a springtime surprise when they turn in their completed maps!
