Cruising Europe with Disney: 7-Night Mediterranean Cruises from Barcelona

All of our voyages in Europe visit spectacular destinations and offer unforgettable adventures, but today I want to showcase one of my favorite itineraries: our 7-night Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona. Not only do these cruises depart from a city rich in history and culture, you’ll visit sun-soaked ports along the Italian coast and French Riviera, giving you the chance to explore the area’s natural beauty, iconic landmarks and historical sites.

Rome, Italy – During your day in the “Eternal City,” step back in time as you visit the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, the Roman Forum and more. Then you’ll head to the Vatican City Museum and Sistine Chapel to see 4,000 years of art, plus Michelangelo’s masterpiece on a privately guided tour.

Livorno, Italy – This is a day for Renaissance exploration in Florence. You’ll explore the great city that is home to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Michelangelo’s David on a guided tour, and then enjoy time on your own to walk the renowned streets and shops of this magnificent Renaissance city.

Cannes, France – After walking the beaches and boutique-lined streets of this resort town, you’ll visit the Prince’s Palace of Monaco for a glimpse of royal life with a guided tour. Then you can revel in the opulence of Monte Carlo renowned for its casinos and extravagance. Next is a visit to Éze, a charming Mediterranean town with narrow roads, stunning views and boutique shops.
