This extra-ticket, one-night-only event will include access to select attractions in the the park, character greetings, a special projections show in addition to Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, and MUCH more! Part of the “much more” includes specialty FOOD just for the event! PLUS, there’s an add-on to allow guests to taste even more treats around the Galaxy: the Galactic Tasting Sampler and Viewing Package! Let’s peek at the food first, then continue scrolling for more info about the Sampler, Table Service dining menus, and more! Specialty Food at Galactic Nights It’s a Galaxy Gourmet for this year’s Galactic Nights event! Returning items will include the famous LIGHTSABER CHURROS! Lightsaber Churros ©Disney Keep an eye out for the Lightsaber Churro Sundae, too. Sweet and Crunchy Popcorn, the Star Wars-themed Orange Truffle Cupcake, the Mini-Éclair Trio, and Glow Cotton Candy will also make their way back to the event from a galaxy far, far away… Tapas-sized gourmet offerings (think Epcot Food and Wine Festival) will be available throughout the park, with up to 25 food and drink items to choose from! Among the new items this year will be the Dueling Gazpacho. Dueling Gazpacho ©Disney It’s spicy red pepper versus cool cucumber-melon, inspired by the lightsaber battle between Darth Maul and Qui-Gon Jinn. Three Cheese Pasta with a lamb and beef Meatball represents the Resistance Movement. Three Cheese Pasta with Meatball and Sweet and Spicy Drumstick ©Disney The honey-chili glazed Sweet and Spicy Fried Drumstick served with a pepper jelly biscuit is inspired by Chewbacca’s friendship with his Ahch-To companions: the Porgs! The Soba Noodle Salad is a vegetarian dish representing the Ewoks’ home of the Forest Moon on Endor. Soba Noodle Salad and Plantmeat on Rootcrush ©Disney Plantmeat on Rootcrush will provide another vegetarian option, with this veggie meatloaf dish “rationed” out a la Unkar Plutt’s concession stand on Jakku. Three Cheese Grits will feature steamed crawfish smothered in Louisiana boil broth served on top of sweet corn cheese grits, inspired by Mon Cala. Three Cheese Grits and Loaded Red Curry Duck Fries ©Disney And Loaded Red Curry Duck Fries are based on the Battle of Crait: seasoned fries will be topped with duck confit, red curry ketchup and white blended cheese sauce. LOADED. RED. CURRY. DUCK. FRIES. Y’ALL. Fish and Chips with Smoked Paprika Remoulade is inspired by the Erso’s homestead with its lowlands and black sand beaches. Fish and Chips with Smoked Paprika Remoulade and Ancho-Chili Octopus ©Disney More returning items include the C-3PO Charcuterie, Yoda Pepperoni Pizza, Pork Wings with Blueberry Slaw, Vegan Blue Milk Curry, the Grilled Wagyu Beef Slider, the Bloody Mary Grilled Shrimp and Chorizo Skewer, the Crab Duo, and the Ribeye Steak Puff. And drinks will include Jettison Juice (non-alcoholic) or the Skywalker Wine Flight, featuring Sommità Chardonnay, Pinot Noir Rosé, and Sommità Pinot Noir from Skywalker Vineyards in Marin County, California. Slider and Skywalker Flight ©Disney Galactic Tasting Sampler and Viewing Package Enjoy up to five of the tapas-sized items (along with options for Disney Dining Plan snack credit-eligible items around the park) and reserved seating for the panel discussion which will take guests behind the scenes of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge with the Galactic Tasting Sampler and Viewing Package. This package is $30 per person, including tax, and can be booked online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE by ticket holders for the event. Samplers may also be up for purchase on the night of the event based on availability. Specialty Menus at BaseLine Tap House and Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge No Advance Dining Reservations will be needed to dine at BaseLine Tap House or The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge to try their specialty menus for the evening. Larger portions of many of the food items noted above will be on the menu, along with exclusive items for each location. The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge Menu: Lemon Diver Scallop with Pork Belly (Location Exclusive) Tofu and Noodle Salad (Location Exclusive) Éclair Trio Shrimp and Chorizo Skewer Wagyu Beef Slider C-3PO Charcuterie Skywalker Wines The Lemon Diver Scallop with Pork Belly represents the time Luke spent on Ahch-To, the marine planet. You’ll only be able to find this one at The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge, along with the also-exclusive Tofu and Rice Noodles in honor of the capital city of Coruscant. Galactic Nights Ticket Information Star Wars: Galactic Nights will take place on May 27, 2018, from 7:00 PM to midnight.
