Disney4me Posted June 23, 2018 Report Share Posted June 23, 2018 Trolley Car Café is the last sweets spot standing at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios after the closure of both Starring Rolls and Sweet Spells in the past year, but happily Trolley Car has adopted several of our favorite desserts. Trolley Car Cafe The reinvented Carrot Cake Cookie is still an OK option. It’s just a little more cake-y than it once was. (The icing is still amazing!) The New Carrot Cake Cookie But the Peanut Butter Cupcake is the same favorite we’ve always loved! Love Is…a Disney Cupcake Trolley Car Café also carries some classics — not just Disney classics but actual pastry classics. Like the Napoleon! Napoleon Napoleons are a staple in the pastry world. Comprised of three layers of puff pastry (often baked between two baking sheets to get that thin, flaky profile), rich vanilla pastry cream, and topped with royal icing (even more traditionally with something powdered, like sugar or cocoa), the mille-feuille as it’s called in France never fails to impress. Napoleon Trolley Car tops theirs with the newer tradition of black-and-white glaze, and between those flaky layers of buttery puff pastry and the delicious pastry cream, we honestly love this. It might not be flashy — no characters emblazoned on the top! no white chocolate Olafs popping out! — but it’s awesome.
