Disney4me
BOO to YOU from Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!! Mickey has just kicked off his very first Party of the Halloween Season in grand style. This extra-ticket event will run on select nights (find the dates here) in the Magic Kingdom from now through the BIG DAY… October 31st for Halloween! It’s Halloween in Magic Kingdom! The Party serves up all sorts of not-so-scary tricks and treats such as special entertainment like the Boo-To-You Parade and Happy HalloWishes Halloween Fireworks, meet-and-greets with characters (some rarely seen) in their Halloween costumes, Trick-or-Treating stations, and SO much more along with access to the park’s attractions! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party New Party-exclusive features this year include select attractions transforming for the Party! These include new lighting effects on Mad Tea Party, pirates interacting with guests on Pirates of the Caribbean while everyone joins the search for “Gunpowder Pete,” and a special soundtrack and new effects will transform Space Mountain. Another new addition is the Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam dance party. We’ll be updating this post throughout the evening, so join us right back here for MORE Not-So-Scary FUN!! As you can tell, there’s LOTS to see… and EAT, because aside from ALL THE CANDY at the trick-or-treat stations, there are also Party-exclusive SNACKS to be had!! So let’s grab a map… Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Map … so we can start out by finding ALL THE TREATS! Trick or Treat Stations in Map Treat Locations You’ll definitely want that map (given to guests upon entering the party) so you can find the Treat Locations and fill it up with complimentary candy… if you remember the Magic Words : TRICK OR TREAT?! Trick or Treating in Magic Kingdom Aside from the map, stations can be identified by looking for area markers. Trick or Treat! Once again this year there are great allergen-free treats for those in need. Simply request one of these designated teal trick-or-treat bags at a Treat Location. (Teal is the chosen color for allergy awareness at Halloween.) Teal Allergy-Friendly Trick or Treat Bag You can also find the allergy-friendly centers in Liberty Square and at the front of the park next to Tony’s Town Square. Cast Members can help provide any additional information or assistance you may need. Allergy-friendly trick-or-treat spot Halloween Specialty Snacks There are several snacks available at Counter Service locations all around the park for additional purchase. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Dining Information Now, something great to know about these first few snacks is that they are available ALL DAY for Magic Kingdom visitors, even outside of the Party! All Day Treats And do we have a fun one to start with: the Not-So-Poison Apple Cupcake! The Not-So-Poison Apple Cupcake Main Street Bakery is where you find this JUMBO red-spiced apple cupcake. The Not-So-Poison Apple Cupcake and Cinnamon Roll sign It’s full of surprises, from the red candied pieces surrounding the SUPER thick buttercream on top… The Not-So-Poison Apple Cupcake Not-So-Poison Apple Cupcake … to the layer of tasty pecan crunch tucked between the frosting and the cake! Not-So-Poison-Apple Cupcake That layer — along with the generous apple spice flavors — lends a fun autumnal flavor to this impressive looking and really terrific-tasting treat that would certainly tempt Snow White… as well as the rest of us! Main Street Bakery has also brought back a returning favorite: the Halloween Cinnamon Roll, loved for its Mickey shape and chocolate spider web! Halloween-inspired cinnamon roll! Another ALL DAY treat through Halloween is the Maleficent Waffle Cone at Storybook Treats! Maleficent Waffle Cone sign As is fitting for a Disney Villain, the flavor of the Maleficent-green lime soft serve is tart. Maleficent Waffle Cone Honestly, a bit too tart and tangy without the Sprite to balance it out (as is the case when it’s served in the Peter Pan Float, which is really enjoyable). The unique black waffle cone its served in matches Maleficent’s style, but lends no additional flavor. Maleficent Waffle Cone But at least the chocolate Maleficent horns offer an extra treat! Maleficent Waffle Cone But while the Maleficent Waffle Cone may give a two-for-one treat, the new Candy Corn Milkshake offers THREE for one! Candy Corn Milkshake Find it at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies in Tomorrowland. Candy Corn Milkshake on the menu This seasonal shake gives you a candy corn milkshake (which has more of a vanilla flavor), a HUGE puff of Cotton Candy AND a gigantic Mickey marshmallow… all in one! Candy Corn Milkshake Candy Corn Milkshake Though it doesn’t taste particularly like candy corn, it sure is yummy overall, and lots of fun, to boot! Auntie’s is also where you’ll find the returning favorite Candy Corn Soft Serve Ice Cream in a cup or cone. Candy Corn Soft Serve on the menu Candy Corn Soft Serve Up next? Stay tuned for all the Party-Exclusive Snacks! We’ll be updating this post throughout the evening, so join us right back here for MORE Not-So-Scary FUN!!
