Disney4me
Just when we thought we had tried all the holiday treats available we spotted some more in the Magic Kingdom this week! Come along on this sweet-filled journey through the Magic Kingdom with us! Plaza Ice Cream Parlor Peppermint Ice Cream One of our favorite stops on any day in the park is Main Street, U.S.A.’s Plaza Ice Cream Parlor – and now you can get Peppermint Ice Cream when you’re there! Plus we just love it when they put those cute Mickey Ears on our cone! It was refreshing to see some peppermint that wasn’t bright pink! It’s a nice peppermint flavor with pieces of peppermint candy in the ice cream. If you’re a peppermint fan this is an ice cream stop for you! Plaza Ice Cream Parlor Peppermint Ice Cream Our next stop was Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies where we spotted (and tried!) the Christmas Cookie Sundae. Their other holiday offering here is a Christmas Cookie Milkshake that we tried during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Auntie Gravity’s Holiday Menu This is a serving of Christmas Cookie Soft-Serve Ice Cream (tastes like cake batter ice cream to us), Chocolate Sauce, Whipped Cream, and of course Sprinkles! We appreciated the generous serving of chocolate sauce on this — more than the menu picture shows! Auntie Gravity’s Christmas Cookie Sundae How about the cute sprinkles on this sundae? Auntie Gravity’s Christmas Cookie Sundae This is really good, and we preferred it to the Milkshake. Since this is “straight” soft serve you definitely taste the flavor of Christmas Cookies more than you do in the Milkshake. Auntie Gravity’s Christmas Cookie Sundae OK, now get ready for your cuteness overload as well as sugar overload….all together now….AWWWW!!! Confectionery Cake Pops How cute are these cake pops! We just want to eat them up!! Confectionery Cake Pops There’s a caramel apple version of the snow man cake pop as well! Those big eyes just scream “take me home”. Confectionery Cake Pops The rest of the Confectionery pastry case is not looking too shabby either. We see holiday apples, krispie treats, and cake pops on top of the regular offerings. Confectionery Baked Goods Plus, there’s specialty cupcakes, seasonally decorated cookies, and gingerbread Mickeys (those ones are out all year, but this is their time to shine!).
