If there is any place more picturesque than Disney World’s Animal Kingdom to enjoy a stroll or simply sit for a spell and take in your surroundings?

I think many would agree when we say, “Nope!” And now there are a few more places where you can do the latter (which we found while doing the former 😉 ) on our latest trip to the park!

Drinkwallah

Drinkwallah is a spot where you can always grab a Frozen Coke or other frozen beverage and a few other snacks (currently, Cinnamon-Glazed Almonds and Pecans are also featured on the menu).

While the snack selection is somewhat limited — being focused on drinks, of course, as stated in the name — the views in this area of Animal Kingdom’s Asia aren’t limited at all!

So the spot is highlighting that fact with a newly expanded seating area. You can take in the views surrounding you…

Lots of new chairs and umbrella-covered tables are now available in the Lower Garden Seating area, just waiting for you to pull up a chair and enjoy your Coconut-Lychee Lemonade.

Upcountry Landing

Upcountry Landing construction is also complete.

What was once a spot a while back to meet and greet Baloo and King Louie is now a stroller parking area complete with a ramp.

Though not as expansive as the new Drinkwallah seating, there are still a few new benches in the area where you can enjoy a Triple Yeti Blast from the nearby Warung Outpost.

A new stage has been constructed as well, “for your future enjoyment.”

We wonder if this sign might give some clue as to the future entertainment?

Of course, you could say that about pretty much anywhere in Animal Kingdom.
