Loaded Mickey-Shaped Waffles are BACK ON THE MENU at Roaring Fork in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge… Roaring Fork Sign … though not exactly in the way you might think. You see, Specialty Mickey Waffles were a signature breakfast item for ages at the Roaring Fork. Chocolate Lovers Waffles Guests could choose from three different offerings: Strawberry Waffles, Chocolate Lovers Waffles, and (my personal favorite) Bananas Foster Waffles. Strawberry Waffles and Bananas Foster Waffles However, when Roaring Fork reopened from a lengthy refurbishment last June, the menus had been revamped along with the space, and the Specialty Waffles did not return. But that has — thankfully! —changed! You’ll now see Loaded Mickey-Shaped Waffles on the breakfast menu (which is served from 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with Grab and Go options available starting at 6:00 AM). HOWEVER… you’ll want to take note of a change to the menu description, which reads… Roaring Fork Breakfast Menu “Mickey-shaped Waffles with Strawberry Sauce, Chocolate-Chips, Banana Foster Sauce, Caramel Sauce, Chocolate Syrup and Whipped Cream.” So, guess what that means? It means you get ALL! THE! TOPPINGS!!! Loaded Mickey Waffles Strawberry sauce, chocolate chips, bananas foster sauce, caramel sauce, chocolate syrup and whipped cream on three Mickey Waffles! Loaded Mickey Waffles Loaded Mickey Waffles Now, if that seems a little much for your liking, fret not! If you’ve been craving, say, the Strawberry Waffles from back in the day, you can just order the strawberry toppings and whipped cream, even though they aren’t listed individually on the menu. OR you can even mix them up to make your own style! Behold… Mickey Waffles with caramel and chocolate sauce with chocolate chips, our brand new combo!
