If you’re visiting the parks this holiday season, there’s a whole feast of new eats to fill your stomach before the new year! At both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, you’ll find new items at many restaurants across the parks and hotels from beignet burgers and lobster dishes to dino-themed cocktails and more. Without further ado, here’s your December edition of Disney Parks Best Bites.

New Menu Items at Hungry Bear Restaurant at Disneyland Park

At Disneyland Resort, Hungry Bear Restaurant in Disneyland park recently implemented a whole new menu! There are two new sandwiches that you can’t miss: the Honey-Spiced Chicken sandwich with lettuce and sweet and spicy spread and the Crispy Fish Sandwich with sweet and spicy slaw and lemon-citrus mayonnaise. For burgers, you can enjoy the Classic Cheeseburger, the BBQ Double Cheeseburger (with bbq sauce, an onion ring, and jalapeño pickle relish), Messy Melvin’s Vegan Specialty Burger served with a vegan patty and stewed vegetables.

Whole Lobster at Coral Reef Restaurant at Epcot

At Walt Disney World Resort, Coral Reef Restaurant at Epcot has added an appetizing new seafood dish. This whole-stuffed Maine lobster comes with crispy baby potatoes, asparagus, béarnaise, lemon, and butter. Make a reservation for lunch or dinner and try it for yourself!

New Breakfast Items at Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom has added some new items to Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery, and Harambe Market, and you’ll even find a brand-new lounge at Restaurantosaurus! At Kusafiri Bakery, you’ll find a few new breakfast items to help you kick-start your day, including a Cheese and Guava Danish and a Pistachio Honey Croissant. For something a little more savory, try the Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit or a Spinach and Feta Quiche.

New Items at Harambe Market at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Stop by Harambe Market to try a new Chicken Gyro served with African coleslaw as well as three new bowl options: the Ribs Bowl, the Chicken Bowl, and the Roasted Vegetable Bowl. All three bowls come with a cilantro rice and green salad base and a side of green salsa and pico de gallo.

Menu Items from Restaurantosaurus Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

At Restaurantosaurus, you can now sit back and relax in the afternoons at the new Restaurantosaurus Lounge. Sip on a selection of beers, wines, and specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snack on some light and yummy bites. Alcoholic cocktails include the Tequilasaurus (a tart margarita), the Ferminted Fossil (a minty mojito), the Primordial Booze (pomegranate and lemonade with vodka), and the Carnotaurus Meteoritis (a bourbon sour). Non-alcoholic mocktails include the Teal Rex with pineapple and lemon juices, lemonade, and blue raspberry syrup, the Paleontology Punch with lemonade, Sprite, and cranberry, apple, pomegranate, and lime juices, and Raptor Refresher with cranberry and orange juice and strawberry purée. Pair any of these drinks with either a bowl of Sweet-and-Spicy Mixed Nuts or Buffalo Chicken Dip served with house-made chips.

Beignet Burger at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter

A couple of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels across property have new items as well – like the incredible Beignet Burger at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter! Just dance on over to Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory to get this burger topped with American cheese, bacon jam, pickled onions, bbq bayou sauce, and house-made pickles and served on – you guessed it – a beignet bun! And right next door at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, you won’t want to miss the all-you-care-to-enjoy Chef’s Platter at Boatwright’s Dining Hall. The platter comes with ribs, Nashville hot chicken, barbecued beef brisket, smoked sausage, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, street corn, and green beans.

New Items at Tambu Lounge at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Finally, Tambu Lounge at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is featuring a whole new menu. Tempt your palate with seafaring apps such as Conch Ceviche, a savory mix served in a coconut, or the Shrimp Cocktail with fresh shrimp marinated in Florida citrus juices. Other sharable plates include the Crispy Chicken Spring Roll served with pickled vegetables, the Beef Carpaccio Tataki with thinly-sliced beef in a spicy black pepper marinade topped with chili oil, or the Tambu Mixed Grill Kebab with chicken, steak, and shrimp served grilled with savory peanut sauce.
