Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is opening at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, plus an all-new Skyliner transportation system will begin operating at Walt Disney World! But that’s not all… Oga’s Cantina © Disney You’ll get to enjoy lots of new and exciting restaurants on both coasts! (That’s why we’re all here, right!?) Read on to learn more about what what’s opening and where, plus when you can expect to be able to visit each spot! Walt Disney World Restaurants Disney’s Hollywood Studios Restaurants When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens, guests won’t just get to enjoy Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – we’ll get to experience two new dining opportunities on planet Batuu! Galaxy’s Edge Concept Art © Disney First up: Oga’s Cantina. Here, you can expect to find Blue Milk, themed cocktails, and non-alcoholic specialty drinks. Don’t forget about the Cantina entertainment, either: RX-24 (Captain Rex from the original Star Tours) will serve as the DJ. Blue Milk We don’t know the name of other dining experience in Galaxy’s Edge yet, but we do know it will a supper club-style table service restaurant with a dinner show! This new land is expected to open in “late fall” 2019. Disney Springs Restaurants Meanwhile, two new restaurants are scheduled to open at Disney Springs in 2019. For sports fans and craft beer enthusiasts, City Works Eatery and Pour House will be a dream come true. Experience more than 80 beers on tap and sporting events displayed on a giant 160″ screen. Scheduled to open on Disney Springs’s West Side in the summer of 2019. City Works Eatery & Pour House Concept Art ©Disney Jaleo, Chef Jose Andres’s first Florida restaurant, will focus on authentic Spanish fare like tapas and paella. Jaleo was originally scheduled to open in late 2018; however, now we’re anticipating an early 2019 opening. Jaleo Construction Progress The NBA Experience has another slam dunk for sports fans! An immersive, basketball-themed restaurant will be opening sometime during the summer of 2019. NBA Experience Construction Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Restaurants Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will welcome Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood in the summer of 2019. At Toledo, you can look forward to a signature rooftop dining experience along with fireworks views! Gran Destino Tower © Disney Reservations at Gran Destino Tower are available for booking starting July 9, 2019, and we’ll be keeping an eye out for when Advance Dining Reservations open for Toledo! A more casual dining location, Three Bridges Bar and Grill (originally called Villa del Lago), will also be opening at Coronado Springs Resort during the summer of 2019, too! Three Bridges Bar and Grill will be located at the center of Lago Dorado, the 14 acre lake the resort surrounds. Three Bridges Bar & Grill Concept Art © Disney And, over at Disney’s Riviera Resort, the sister resort to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, we can expect another yet-to-be-named rooftop dining experience with views of Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Currently, the projected opening season is fall 2019. Disney’s Riviera Resort © Disney Other Walt Disney World Restaurants: Mission Space Restaurant in Epcot, and Epcot Japan Restaurant The Mission Space restaurant at Epcot – possibly called Space 220 – has yet to announce a timeframe for launch. Based on recent job postings, though, we’re probably looking at sometime in 2020. Space-themed Restaurant Concept Art © Disney Epcot‘s Japan Pavilion will also be welcoming a Signature Dining table service restaurant. No official opening date has been determined. Disneyland Resort Restaurants Disneyland Park Restaurants Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is scheduled to open at Disneyland park in the summer of 2019! Galaxy’s Edge Concept Art Just like its counterpart at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland will be home to Oga’s Cantina and a supper club-style table service restaurant with a dinner show. Downtown Disney Restaurants Ballast Point, one of the country’s leading craft breweries, will be opening a branch in Disneyland‘s Downtown Disney District in early 2019. You can look forward to a seasonally-inspired menu that’s specially curated to pair with Ballast Point‘s beers! Burgers and beer at Ballast Point © BallastPoint If you’re a fan burgers and beer, you might also want checkout Black Tap Craft Burgers and Beers! This award-winning NYC restaurant – known for its signature milkshakes – is scheduled to open its first California location in the Downtown Disney District sometime in early 2019. Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer © Disney Disneyland Resort Hotel Restaurants Over at the Grand Californian Resort, a new pool bar will be opening sometime in 2019! While details are still limited, we do know the new pool bar will make use of natural boulder stonework. You can also plan to see plenty of lounge and table seating. New Pool Bar Concept Art at the Grand Californian © Disney After a lengthy refurbishment, Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel will reopen as Tangaroa Terrace Bar and Grill mid-January 2019.
