Disney4me
Growing up, one of the coolest things about Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story” was Andy’s unbelievable backyard. I mean, that kid had everything! If you’re like me, you wanted to experience all of Andy’s toys – and now, with the new Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can do just that. You and your friends can feed your craving for nostalgia by entering this new land, where Andy’s toys are larger than life. Zip across the backyard on Slinky Dog Dash – the first roller coaster at Walt Disney World Resort to feature TWO launches! – or take a spin on the Alien Swirling Saucers. And if a little friendly competition is more of your squad’s style, there is always the classic, Toy Story Mania. A visit to Toy Story Land would not be complete without sampling some delicious sips and snacks at Woody’s Lunch Box. With options ranging from chocolate-hazelnut lunch box tarts to bbq brisket melts to “totchos” – think nachos, but with tater tots! – there are so many great bites to power you for more play time in Andy’s backyard. In the daytime it’s magical already, but under the lights at night, Toy Story Land is an even better experience. And with so many little accents such as popsicle-stick benches, life-size toys and a giant Pixar ball, there are dozens of great photo ops throughout the land. Be sure to grab a Little Green Alien or Slinky Dog headband to complete your “Toy Story” look! Toy Story Land is a must-do as part of your Walt Disney World vacation, and the kid in you will be so happy you did!
