Maleficent Dragon Float However, it’s a moment that many guests have missed over the past several months, as the float was removed from the parade in May of 2018 after an unfortunate incident when the float caught fire during the parade. (No Cast Members or guests were harmed during the incident.) But as of TODAY Maleficent will make her return to the Festival of Fantasy Parade!
