Disney4me
After eating our way around Epcot last week, it was time to re-visit the Magic Kingdom this week to see what’s new! Hello from the Magic Kingdom! We found some rarely-seen characters, new sweet treats, some menu changes, and bunch of new merchandise. But first, look at who we met! What’s New on Magic Kingdom’s Main Street, U.S.A. As part of the Mickey and Minnie Celebration we’ll be treated to visits from rarely-seen in-the-parks characters. On the day we were there we spotted Remy and Emile from Ratatouille, and we’ve seen Nick and Judy from Zootopia as well as Phineas and Ferb on past visits. Remy and Emile say “Bonjour” to Magic Kingdom Guests A cast member we spoke with did give a head’s up that the lines are unusually long this time of year for these character Meet and Greets, so if you’re waiting to meet some of these characters bring patience! Lines to Meet Remy and Emile The Main Street Confectionery is celebrating Rock the Dots with a pretty decadent looking Rock the Dots Minnie Giant Krispie Treat. We love chocolate, but this is CRAZY chocolate! Rock the Dots Giant Krispie Treat Rock the Dots Giant Krispie Treat If you’re feeling a little more restrained in your Krispie love, there’s some smaller, and equally cute new Mickey and Minnie Krispie treats. You can also pick these cuties up at Big Top Treats in Fantasyland. We spotted them at Friar’s Nook this week, and did not see them in Pinocchio’s Village Haus where we’ve usually seen them. If you’re looking for them remember to check both locations! Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Souvenir Mug at Friar’s Nook What’s New in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland Peco’s Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe has been busy with some changes to their menu. Pork Carnitas now come with the Fajita Platter, and are newly an option where Spicy Beef was on the menu. Pecos Bill Menu Pecos Bill Menu Look who popped up in Pecos Bill as well! That too-cute Mickey Sipper! We also spotted this guy in Pinocchio Village Haus and Casey’s Corner! We’re pretty excited about Disney’s new D-Lish line featuring classic Disney foods and snacks — and we keep finding more and more merchandise added to this line much to our delight! How about a piece of pizza — we mean a new pair of socks! Pizza Socks There’s also a new line of character socks with packaging that looks like cupcakes. Character Socks And not officially part of the D-Lish line, but the feature snacks, is a new line of sweat pants. You can choose from Villain, Snack, Disney Attractions and Parks, or Mickey and Minnie themed sweats. New Line of Disney Sweatpants Disney Snacks Sweatpants We’re loving the detail on these Disney Snack sweats with the pin stripe, pocket, and artwork. Disney Snacks Sweatpants Disney Snacks Sweatpants The Mickey and Minnie sweats are just as detailed with a fun message on the pocket. Which pair of sweats will you be adding to your comfy clothes wardrobe? Disney Parks and Attractions Sweatpants Should you be going somewhere that is a little more formal than these fun new sweats, there’s a new Rock the Dots dress in Uptown Jewelers that’s perfect for any occasion.
