Disney4me
Mickey and Minnie’s Get Your Ears On celebration at Disneyland is bringing all sorts of tasty and creative snacks to the park, and one such savory snack is the Jumbo Handcrafted Bavarian Pretzel found at Troubadour Tavern! Jumbo Handcrafted Bavarian Pretzel Oh man, I love this place. Out of the way and lightly “peopled” (unless the show is going on), Troubadour always has great savory eats to make into a snack or a full meal. This pretzel feels the mouse-y love with toppings in Mickey’s signature colors: red, yellow, and black! And the toppings are pretty creative! The yellow is nacho cheese (yum!), the red is crushed spicy onion chips, and the black is smoked black salt. Jumbo Handcrafted Bavarian Pretzel In case you can’t tell, this pretzel is absolutely massive! Like bigger than a full-size plate massive! So you’ll probably need to share this one. Jumbo Handcrafted Bavarian Pretzel Primarily the pretzel and nacho cheese flavors come through, the salt tastes like… salt, and the onion chips only add color and crunch. So while the toppings are distributed well and add a lot of visual interest, they don’t add a ton of flavor. Jumbo Handcrafted Bavarian Pretzel Still, if you’re looking for a high-quality pretzel and don’t mind a couple of added toppings, this is a terrific snack. At $10.99, it’s maybe a little high priced for one, but shared between 2-3 people, it could be a good value! So head over to Troubadour to kick back, relax, and nosh!
