Shanghai Disney Resort Guests Enjoy Once-A-Year Chinese New Year Tradition

The third Chinese New Year at Shanghai Disney Resort was marked this week with a traditional Chinese eye-dotting ceremony. To spread good luck and cheer to guests and cast members, the resort’s general manager Philippe Gas dotted the eyes of two lions to awaken them for the New Year.

Chinese New Year marks an important time of year for families and friends to reunite together, and Shanghai Disney Resort provides more opportunities than ever before to experience the unique traditions that hold a special place in the hearts of Chinese people. With spectacular themed entertainment, dining, shopping and decorations, guests of all ages can join in the celebration from now until February 19.
