We’ve tried churros, cake, and caramel apples, and now we’re bringing you the newest treat in the line-up. Please say hello to Mickey Butterscotch Beignets!! Mickey Butterscotch Beignets These cuties are available, starting today, at the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square…just in time for Mardi Gras! Mickey Butterscotch Beignets Display As you can see, they are $5.49 for a serving of 3 beignets, or $8.99 for a shareable serving of 6. Well, I guess you could share the 3-pack, but… will you really want to? Butterscotch Beignet Cross-section Each piece is covered with a butterscotch powder and is noticeably darker than a traditional beignet. Butterscotch Beignet So, how was it?! It was LOVE AT FIRST BITE!! The butterscotch made its presence known right off the bat. There is also a TON of powdered sugar — a MUST for a good beignet! You can tell everyone has been enjoying these — there was powdered sugar EVERYWHERE! On the floors, trash cans, tables, and even the planter by the exit! Butterscotch Beignet Even though these are butterscotch, there were definitely notes of caramel as well. Other Guests enjoying the snack said they noticed it too!
