Disney4me Posted April 8, 2019 Report Share Posted April 8, 2019 Last week was packed with news for not one, but TWO, upcoming Epcot Festivals: the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival and the 2019 Epcot Festival of the Holidays. Epcot International Festival of the Holidays Dates were announced for each Festival, and it was revealed that Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays would take place from November 29 – December 30, 2019. However, it appears that the Candlelight Processional, which is part of the Festival of the Holidays, will begin the day before the rest of the Festival. Candlelight Processional According to the Walt Disney World website, the Candlelight Processional will start on Thanksgiving Day, November 28th, continuing the new tradition set last year when the Candlelight Processional began on Thanksgiving Day for the first time in the event’s history. Disney World website screenshot For those who are new to celebrating the Holidays at Walt Disney World, the Epcot Candlelight Processional presents the Christmas story told by a celebrity narrator while a 50-piece orchestra and choir accompany the re-telling.
