Nothing says spring quite like the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. The Festival, which runs through June 3, 2019, is an annual event filled with great music, beautiful blooming flowers and amazing topiaries. There is also adorable Festival merchandise and Outdoor Kitchens where you may sample a variety of dishes, desserts and specialty drinks. There truly is something for everyone, just ask Disney Parks Moms Panelist Rayna.

“Since mom and dad are there for the food and floral, we have to figure out fun ways to keep the kiddos occupied as well. One of our favorite things to do is Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration,” she explains. “It’s a super fun scavenger hunt about bees that is also educational. Once we’re done buzzing around, we head to The Honey Bee-stro for the delicious Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake. Best combination ever…parents get to see the beautiful gardens while enjoying a fun kids’ activity, and then we all indulge in deliciousness!”

And speaking of food, Samantha says one can’t leave the Festival without partaking in her all-time favorite snack, the Dole Whip!

“At this year’s festival, pineapple soft-serve is on the menu at Pineapple Promenade, located near the Refreshment Port.  You can get this yummy treat by itself, with Fanta, or with coconut rum.  It’s the perfect snack to enjoy as you stroll around the park, admiring the beautiful Disney character topiaries.”

While walking and enjoying the sites, make sure to take plenty of photos. One of Anne Marie’s favorite photo spots can be found in the Canada pavilion on the path leading to Le Cellier Steakhouse. She describes the flower gardens there as simply breathtaking!

Most importantly, don’t forget to pick up your Garden Passport, according to Amy M.

“We love to use the official “passport” as a checklist to make sure we see all the topiaries! We also like to scope out new vegan and vegetarian offerings from the Outdoor Kitchens, and are excited to try the new Trowel & Trellis treats this year. A performance from the Garden Rocks Concert Series is a great way to wind down your day at Epcot…especially as the sun sets behind the World Showcase Lagoon.”
