The “Wish Granted” Donut in Magic Kingdom is a Whole New World of Donut Fun!

Recommended Posts

It’s the 30th anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but that’s not the only park having some fun with food today! Over at Magic Kingdom several new sweet treats are making their debut today, including this whole new Wish Granted Donut from Sunshine Tree Terrace!

This donut makes quite the first impression! From the shock of blue cotton candy to the thick layer of gold sprinkles, it captures the spirit of the movie (not to mention the film’s beloved Genie!).

The base is a yeast donut, so it’s more pillowy than dense. The glaze is simple and not itself overly sweet, but it definitely struggled in the heat and was starting to melt a bit.

And then there’s that layer of crunchy gold sprinkles. Now there’s some sugar! The texture is intense, and we liked the crunchiness of it, but if you’re sprinkles-averse, this one isn’t for you.

And while the cotton candy is definitely something to remove and eat separately, we were just happy it didn’t melt completely before we had a chance to enjoy it! 😉

And here are the price details: the Wish Granted Donut is $4.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit at Sunshine Tree Terrace.
