Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge If so, then first of all… LUCKY YOU!! Second, we’ve got the scoop on how the 4-hour time slots allotted to those visiting the land during the required reservation period (from May 31 – June 23, 2019) will be enforced to allow the next group of reservation-holding visitors to set foot on planet Batuu. Black Spire Outpost on Batuu ©Disney/Lucasfilm According to The Orange County Register, guests with reservations visiting Galaxy’s Edge will be given colored wristbands for each four-hour reservation window. The article also states that “Newly-admitted Galaxy’s Edge visitors will mix in with those already in the land much like the Halloween events at Disneyland.” Disneyland may, after the four-hour windows are up, ask guests with expired wristbands to leave the land. Disneyland vice president Kris Theiler is quoted: “At a certain point, if we have to, then we’ll start to ask them to leave the land.” And would you like to know who “we” includes? STORMTROOPERS! Stormtroopers As the article shares, “Stragglers will be dealt with by the First Order stormtroopers patrolling the land.” He also expressed that four hours should suffice to explore Galaxy’s Edge, stating: “Most guests are going to find that they’re ready to roll after four hours.” It was also noted that, during the reservation period, the land will be operating below full crowd capacity, with a goal of keeping wait times for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at under two hours, with accommodations made for any down time the attraction might experience. ©Disney from @DisneyParks on Twitter Disney hopes to disperse the visitors so everyone does not head directly to the attraction first, encouraging guests to wait until the second or third hour of the window (but not wait until the every end) to enter the queue. And remember, starting June 24th, reservations will no longer be required to visit Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland.
