We’re bringing you What’s New — and it’s not a whole lot, but you’ll want to come along for some primate news. And primate puns. So get off the monkey bars, and let’s go play! Welcome to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! What’s New in Animal Kingdom Monkey Business If you’re hanging around Animal Kingdom’s Asia, prepare for a little less monkeying around. The water has been drained from around one of the siamang monkey habitats! Siamang Monkey Island Water Drained We’re not sure what the (mon)key to this refurbishment is, but we’ll keep an eye on it and share the ‘tail’ as it unfolds. Siamang Monkey Island Water Drained The siamangs have been moved during this process, and we’re not sure howl long they’ll be gone. Siamang Monkey Island Water Drained Okay, we’re done now. What’s New in Animal Kingdom Food News The colorful Bird Cupcake is available in Creature Comforts and Restaurantosaurus now. We gave you a sneak beak at it recently. (We said we were done with monkey puns — no one promised anything about birds!) Bird Cupcake Bird Cupcake Over at Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe, the Daily Chef Special is Sweet & Sour Tempura Shrimp right now. This limited time only dish comes with jasmine rice and golden crisp tempura shrimp. It sounds great, so we hope it nama-stays around for a while! Sweet and Sour Shrimp Tempura at Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe And in case you were wondering, Mike Wazowski still hasn’t returned to the monster world.
