Last week, the Disney Parks Blog team celebrated the official return of summer in a big way – by hosting the largest meetup we’ve ever held at Walt Disney World Resort during Disney H2O Glow Nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon!

In case you aren’t familiar, Disney H2O Glow Nights are special ticketed “ultimate glow parties” that take place on select nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park. The parties transform the park into a celebration of all-things “Toy Story,” with a DJ-hosted dance party on the beach, character greetings, party exclusive food & beverage, and more. Party guests can also enjoy shorter wait times at all Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon attractions.

We couldn’t think of a better way to mark the return of our favorite season than by meeting up thousands of Disney Parks Blog readers at the park to celebrate the return of the season of sun and fun. In addition to enjoying the normal Disney H2O Glow Night experience, our crowd was treated to a Q&A interview Director & Animator Mark Walsh who directed the “Toy Story” toon “Partysaurus Rex,” participated in our largest group selfie on the beach, and much more.

Check out the video above for a look inside the celebration.

Want to enjoy your own Disney H2O Glow Nights fun? Parties will take place Thursday and Saturdays throughout summer, now through August 24 (one exception: there will be no event on June 20). Parties run from 8-11 p.m. Grab tickets here!
