From June 14th through August 18th, Guardians Star-Lord and Gamora and their alien band will be performing hits from Awesome Mix Volumes 1 & 2 five times a day in the American Gardens Theatre. Guardians of the Galaxy — Awesome Mix Live! ©Disney And The American Adventure Pavilion will be serving up some eats to go along with it! Awesome Mix Live! Eats ©Disney Liberty Inn will offer the Space Sandwich — barbecue pulled pork topped with crispy onions and served on a Kaiser bun with french fries — and the Awesome Mix Plate, which is french fries topped with barbecue pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, bacon, and lettuce! Eats ©Disney You can also order up a Cosmic Cake: chocolate cake filled with vanilla buttercream and “space sprinkles!” Or you can try some Rocket Fuel – a frozen Coca-Cola slushy with grenadine. Fife & Drum Tavern will feature the Mix Tart (a strawberry-filled shortbread cookie), and, like last summer, they will be serving a selection of specialty beverages. Awesome Mix Live! Eats ©Disney The Awesome Mix Slushy is a frozen blue raspberry, strawberry, and lemonade slushy served with a glow cube. The I am Root float is a classic Root Beer Float topped with whipped cream and mint leaves. And the Destroyer Punch is orange, pineapple, and lime juices and grenadine, which can be turned into Galaxy Juice for guests 21-and-over with the addition of cherry bourbon. Oh… and no matter whether you enjoy your intergalactic eats before or after Awesome Mix Live!, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for Little Groot during the concert, too! Have fun!
