We’re Tackling THE TEMPLE OF BACON At Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar!

HOLD ON TO YOUR POTATOES, my friends, because it’s time to enter the TEMPLE OF BACON!

Well, Jock Lindsey’s isn’t ACTUALLY the Temple of Bacon, but it IS where you can now ACQUIRE the Temple of Bacon! And just in case you’re not sure where and what Jock’s is, you’ll find it in Disney Springs, and it’s an Indiana Jones-themed bar and lounge!

Let’s take a peek…

You know this is right up our alley, right?? Thick-cut Applewood Smoked Bacon is doused in Ganachery Milk Chocolate, AND drizzled with Chipotle Ganache (that’s the dark chocolate drizzle there). We also spotted some cayenne pepper and salt sprinkled on ours that wasn’t listed in the description!

But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. FIRST we to tell you about the presentation! The Temple of Bacon comes to you in a smokey dome…

…then the server lifts off the dome and DRAMA ENSUES!

And then, my friends, you take a moment to admire this creation.

But then it’s time to get down to EATING.

This dish is obviously super savory, but even with the chocolate it remains more savory than sweet for sure. We loved the addition of the cayenne and salt.

The chipotle drizzle was a little to subtle to really taste or give any heat. But overall we found this dish super enjoyable, yummy…and very filling!
