Disney4me
Welcome to this week’s What’s New in Animal Kingdom! Expedition Everest We have a lot to tell you about, including the delicious Orange Blossom cocktail, some pretty fabulous headwear and special edition plush, and a new MagicBand featuring “all the colors of the wind”! Let’s get started! What’s New in Animal Kingdom’s Discovery Island Kicking off our trek in Discovery Island, we spotted the Tiger Tail Chocolate Twist at Isle of Java! Tiger Tail Chocolate Twist This bright orange treat is very similar to Magic Kingdom’s famous Cheshire Cat Tail. It’s buttery, flaky and chocolatey – all great things in our book! You can grab it for $4.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. Tiger Tail Chocolate Twist Read our full review of the Tiger Tail Chocolate Twist here! At Creature Comforts, their Father’s Day Cupcakes were still available when we were there. These cupcakes are Finding Nemo-themed and super cute! What’s New in Animal Kingdom’s Africa Moving on to Africa, the Harambe Market construction walls are still up, and we can start to see the beginning of a new structure. We previously noticed the Harambe Market construction last month and we still aren’t sure what the purpose is. We’ll keep you posted as we find more news about this! Orange Blossom Cocktail The newest specialty Orange Blossom cocktail ($12.75) is a delicious mixture of Sauza tequila, Vanderhum, orange juice, and agave. It is a super refreshing drink to sip in the hot summer sun. Orange Blossom Specialty Cocktail Check out our full review of the Orange Blossom Cocktail here! In addition to introducing a new drink, the Dawa Bar has also changed its line location. Guests now line up on the outside of the seating area instead of directly in front of the bar.
