Disney4me
In January of this year, Disney World and Disneyland introduced park-specific reusable shopping bags as part of their many efforts to eliminate single-use plastics. We love that the designs on the bags are specific to the parks where they’re purchased! Reusable Shopping Bags But if you love these merchandise bags like we do, we have a bit of not-so-great news to share. The totes we saw in Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Confectionery have all increased in price by a dollar. Magic Kingdom Reusable Shopping Bags When the reusable bags initially debuted, they were $1, $1.50 and $2.00, depending on size. Now, they’re $2.00, $2.50, and $3.00 respectively. That’s a pretty significant price increase in the span of five months! So far, we’ve only seen the new prices in Magic Kingdom, but we assume we’ll see the same price increase in the other parks as well. Reusable Shopping Bags This week is certainly a big one for price jumps, as we’ve already seen increased rates for Disney World Annual Passholders AND overnight parking for Disney World resort guests.
