The Plaza Restaurant in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is one of our favorite — and somewhat hidden — dining gems in the parks and is overlooked by many guests. Well, the Plaza is now serving up something that’s almost impossible to overlook now that they’ve introduced an absolutely crazy Chocolate Extreme Shake!

This thing is so over-the-top we couldn’t wait to tell you all about it!

To craft this crazy concoction, a rich chocolate shake is topped with a glazed donut, a chocolate ice cream cone, chocolate coin ears, AND a Mickey-shaped marshmallow.

But wait! There’s more…

The chocolate shake is mixed with even MORE chocolate, and the rim of the glass is decked out in white frosting and chocolate chips.

So much chocolate!

This shake is pretty much made for chocolate lovers, but our server did tell us we had the option to choose another ice cream flavor.

While this shake is indeed extreme, it is also VERY MESSY. We wish the waffle cone wasn’t inside the shake, because the cone was pretty much a soft mess by the time we got to it underneath all the other components. But it is a LOT of fun and would be a memorable dessert for a table to share.

You can try the Chocolate Extreme Shake at the Plaza for $14. You won’t be able to take this shake to go, so you’ll need to plan to be seated in the restaurant.  It is NOT eligible as a Bottomless Milkshake, but I’m not sure how anyone could finish more than one anyway! We didn’t see any mention of this shake on the signs or menu inside the restaurant, but it is advertised with a sign at the outdoor check-in, and our seater and server both told us about it. So get ready to drink — and eat! — up with the Chocolate Extreme Shake!
